Consent to an appointment is not consent to photography, video or audio recording. Permission to film should be specific and should clearly establish what the recording may include.

Before the meeting, both adults should agree on:

• what may and may not appear in the recording;
• whether video, photographs and audio are permitted;
• which device will be used;
• who will operate the camera;
• whether the companion’s voice may be recorded;
• which identifying features must remain hidden;
• who will control and retain the file;
• how long the recording may be stored; and
• whether it must be deleted after viewing.

Consent to create a private recording does not automatically include permission to copy, edit, upload, sell, publish or share it with another person.

Privacy and the Limitations of a Mask

A mask can conceal the face, but it cannot guarantee complete anonymity. Someone may still be recognised through her voice, tattoos, scars, jewellery, hairstyle, clothing or other distinctive features.

The filming space should be checked carefully for anything that could reveal personal information. This may include:

• mirrors and reflective surfaces;
• hotel documents or room details;
• photographs and personal belongings;
• computer or telephone screens;
• visible names or correspondence; and
• recognisable surroundings.

Where privacy is especially important, the companion may require audio to be disabled or certain parts of her body and surroundings to remain outside the camera frame.

Consent, Boundaries and Personal Control

Consent must be freely given, informed, specific and ongoing. A companion may agree to filming only while she remains masked, only during certain parts of the meeting or only when particular camera angles are used.

Either person may:

• request that filming pauses;
• change the camera position;
• exclude an activity from the recording;
• ask for audio to be switched off;
• use a safeword or stop signal;
• request that existing footage is deleted; or
• withdraw permission completely.

The additional £50 charge does not purchase ownership of the companion’s image or remove her control over how she is recorded. Payment applies only to the filming arrangement that has been clearly discussed and accepted.

Safewords and Stop Signals

Being recorded can sometimes make a person feel pressure to continue for the benefit of the camera. Agreeing on a safeword or clear stop phrase helps both adults communicate outside the performance.

A traffic-light system may be used:

Green means the filming and agreed interaction feel comfortable.

Amber means pause the recording, make an adjustment or discuss a concern.

Red means stop filming immediately.

Direct phrases such as “camera off,” “pause filming” or “stop recording” are equally appropriate. A non-verbal signal should also be agreed where speaking may become difficult.

Once consent is withdrawn, the recording must stop immediately. It should not continue because the appointment has been paid for, the video is almost complete or the camera remains running.

Trust and Emotional Wellbeing

Being filmed can feel exciting, playful or empowering, but it may also create vulnerability. A person may feel comfortable during the meeting and later become anxious about where the recording is stored or who may eventually see it.

From a sexual-wellbeing perspective, informed consent means understanding that digital footage can be copied, transferred or retained. Both adults should have enough time to consider the possible consequences before agreeing.

No companion should be pressured to remove her mask, reveal her face, repeat an interaction or expand the permitted use of the footage. Trust develops when the original agreement is respected without negotiation or surprise changes.

Devices, Storage and Deletion

The device and storage arrangements should be confirmed before filming begins. Some companions may only agree when the footage remains on their own device, while others may permit a client-controlled device under specific conditions.

Both adults should consider:

• automatic cloud backups;
• shared photo libraries;
• recently deleted folders;
• messaging applications;
• connected computers and tablets;
• screenshots or extracted still images; and
• duplicate files created during editing.

Deleting the visible recording may not remove every stored copy. Where deletion has been agreed, connected accounts, backup folders and recently deleted files should also be checked.

Mask Safety and Physical Comfort

The mask should be clean, secure and comfortable. It must not restrict breathing, create excessive heat or prevent the companion from communicating clearly.

Reduced vision may also affect balance and movement. The filming area should therefore be uncluttered and provide enough space to move safely.

Filming should pause immediately if the mask causes:

• breathing difficulty;
• dizziness;
• anxiety;
• overheating;
• restricted vision; or
• physical discomfort.

Privacy and visual presentation should never take priority over physical safety.

The £50 Additional Charge

The £50 filming-with-a-mask supplement is charged in addition to the selected companion’s standard appointment rate.

The complete cost may include:

• the companion’s usual rate;
• the £50 filming supplement;
• the appointment duration;
• the London location;
• travel requirements; and
• any other arrangements confirmed beforehand.

The supplement does not include publication rights, ownership of the footage or unrestricted permission to retain, copy or distribute the recording.
